I just trying to install Mahara, an e-portofolio software. It's quite fun. I don't know that there is such a software like this in Opensource world :p
The installation How-To can be found at http://wiki.mahara.org/System_Administrator's_Guide/Installing_Mahara
Ubuntu user, can follow this How-To to install Mahara : http://wiki.mahara.org/System_Administrator's_Guide/Installing_Mahara/How_to_install_Mahara_in_Ubuntu
Alhamdulillah, I am an Ubuntu user. So I just follow the instructions. But I found there is some error when follow the first link. In the first link it was not say anything about $cfg -> wwwroot. So I did'nt configure it.
When I tried to access Mahara, I found error that the address of Mahara is http://localhost/re/mahara/admin which I didn't set "/re" address. How can it suddenly come up? I tried to clear my browser cache, but still no luck. I tried to re-install Mahara, I found same error.
Then I switched to Ubuntu How-To and I setup $cfg -> wwwroot value to http://localhost/mahara
Voila! Mahara site is running smoothly :D
