Upgrade Openerp-server 6.0.1 to 6.0.2

Today, I just upgrade my OpenERP server from 6.0.1 --> 6.0.2. The reason, because I found the error when customizing OpenERP email template from the menu Tools --> Configuration --> Email Template.

I also found this error when access menu Administration --> Modules and click random module to see the description.

I found there is no official How To about upgrading OpenERP. Luckily, I found this https://docs.google.com/document/d/1QF_NX7rcj8rKWSz98M2yLCHKx47HYY2XF_AvU8wDjSE/edit?hl=en&authkey=COqitJAH

I followed the guidelines, and it works. The different is at the step 5 only.

Anyway, at step 5 :
Quote:
5. Start the server manually
su openerp #the user that runs OpenERP
#password
cd /home/openerp/server/bin/
./openerp-server.py -d databasename -u all

I did : cd /home/openerp/openerp-server/bin

Then I open another shell to monitor the log.
sudo tail -f /var/log/openerp/openerp-server.log

That's it
Hope this help someone who want to upgrade OpenERP from 6.0.1 to 6.0.2
